How is Ferosom Forte different from other iron supplements?

Ferosom Forte is a newer iron supplement that does not cause side effects and has been shown to have similar absorption rates to certain doses of IV iron. Will I experience any side effects with Ferosom Forte?

No, our customers rarely experience any side effects. Ferosom Forte is formulated to be absorbed directly into your small intestine, significantly reducing the amount of unabsorbed iron in your stomach. This means there is a very low chance of experiencing gastrointestinal side effects like constipation, nausea and stomach pain. Based on multiple studies, it is reported that only 3% of people experience adverse side effects from oral liposomal iron.

Why is Ferosom Forte’s dosage lower than most iron supplements?

Our dosage is lower than most iron supplements because Ferosom Forte comes in liposomal form. Liposomal form is an advanced nutrient delivery system that greatly increases absorption and bioavailability, so only a small amount is needed. In addition, coated liposomal iron has been clinically shown to have similar absorption rates to certain doses of IV iron.

Other iron supplements contain such a high dose (like 150mg) because only about 10% of the iron actually gets absorbed and results in a lot of ‘free floating iron’ in the stomach (unabsorbed iron). High doses of unabsorbed iron is what causes those unpleasant side effects.

How long will it take for Ferosom Forte to increase my iron levels?

Some customers begin to experience the benefits of Ferosom Forte within the first 4 weeks of taking it. However, this can vary from person-to-person and the severity of their iron deficiency. We recommend taking Ferosom Forte daily for at least 3-6 months to see an improvement in your iron levels.

What’s the difference between Ferosom Forte capsules and sachets?

Ferosom Forte capsules contain 30 mg of elemental iron and also include vitamin C for enhanced absorption. Ferosom Forte sachets contain 21 mg of elemental iron and include vitamins C, D, B6, B12 and folic acid.

I have some dietary restrictions, is Ferosom Forte right for me?

It’s super important to us that both Ferosom Forte sachets and capsules are non restrictive and fit many different lifestyles. That’s why Ferosom Forte products are vegan (dairy-free), gluten-free, non-GMO, and halal.

Is there a time that is best to take Ferosom Forte and should I avoid any foods/beverages?

No, there is no designated time to take Ferosom Forte. The best time of day to take it is when it’s most convenient for you and your lifestyle. If you are taking other medications, then you may want to take them a few hours apart, however, your healthcare practitioner will be able to advise you on whether or not that is necessary.

The sachets are a berry-flavoured powder. We have had a few customers say that the sachets remind them of a pixie stick candy flavour.

How should I take the sachets?

There are multiple different ways you can take Ferosom’s sachets. They can be mixed into water, a smoothie/juice or yogurt. Our favourite way to take the sachets is to pour the powder directly into your mouth and let it dissolve. Just be sure not to mix Ferosom Forte sachets into any hot beverages/food.

Ferosom Forte’s subscription program is a recurring order, billed and shipped automatically at the chosen frequency, until canceled or skipped. With each subscription order, you save 20% on your chosen Ferosom Forte product. You can subscribe to 1 box of product or shop bulk and save an additional 5% on 3 boxes or 10% on 5 boxes. You can choose to have your subscription delivered every 15, 55, or 95 days. You can skip, pause or cancel your subscription at any time, right from your account – you’re in control.

How do I earn points?

For every dollar you spend, you earn one point. You can also earn points when you create an account, leave a review, celebrate your birthday, follow us on socials and more.

Do my points ever expire?

Yes, your points will expire after two years from the date you earned the points.

Where can I sign up for Ferosom Rewards?

You can create an account and sign up to the program by clicking on ‘Join Now’ via the rewards dashboard here.

How do I redeem my points?

When you’re ready to redeem your points, be sure you’re logged into your Ferosom account. Once logged in, head down to the footer menu and click on ‘Ferosom Rewards’. This will bring you to your rewards dashboard. From here, you can see how many rewards you have. Scroll down the page to see what you’re eligible to redeem. Once you select a voucher to redeem, you will be sent a unique discount code via email. You can then copy and paste this code into the discount field at checkout. This code will not expire until it has been used. You can redeem your points for $5, $10, $20 or $40 off your order.

When will I see my points adjusted?

You will receive an email notification when you have taken a new action and earned points – these points will be reflected immediately after an action has taken place. Your points can be viewed from the rewards dashboard here.

Do purchases made prior to my Ferosom Rewards opt-in count towards my point earnings?

Unfortunately not – you’ll only be eligible to receive points on purchases made after joining the rewards program. However, you’ll earn 50 points just for signing up!

How can I redeem my points on my subscription order?

Once you’ve selected a voucher to redeem your points for ($5, $10, $20, $40), go to your account dashboard (top right corner of web page). Click My Subscriptions > View Details. You will then see the discount code field under your subscription details. Copy and paste the discount code you received via email into this field and then select Apply. You have now successfully redeemed your points for your next subscription order.

Is shipping free?

We offer free shipping on orders over $50. Orders under $50 will be charged a $10 shipping fee.

How long will my order take to process and ship?

Once your order has been placed, it will take 1-2 business days to process. After your order has been processed, shipping timelines vary between 2-5 business days depending on where you are located. All orders ship via Canada Post and Purolator.

Please note, we cannot always guarantee these delivery windows, as mail carriers may encounter delays beyond our control.

Do you ship to the USA or internationally?

At this time, we only ship Ferosom Forte products within Canada.

Where can I view/track my order?

You can check the status of your order by signing into your account here: https://ferosom-forte.myshopify.com/account/login. After you have signed in, you will be able to view your order and its fulfillment status.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email from us with your Canada Post tracking number. You can use this number to track your package. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

Can I make edits to my order?

We cannot guarantee, and are not responsible for any changes to your order or shipping address, as our fulfillment center quickly processes and ships orders. My tracking number shows my package was marked delivered, but I didn’t receive my order. How should I proceed?

We’re sorry you have not yet received your order – we can definitely help you with this. If possible, we first recommend checking around your delivery location and with any neighbors.

Sometimes a package is marked as delivered in error. This is often resolved at the end of the day and almost always within two days. If you haven’t received your order within two days of the carrier marking your order as delivered, please reach out to our team at info@ferosomcanada.com.

What is your return policy?

If you’re looking to return your order, we’re here to help! We offer returns within 30 days of purchase to the original payment method (excluding shipping charges). To be eligible for a return, your order must be in its original packaging and condition that it was received in. Please note, we do not cover the cost of the return shipping label – the customer is responsible for this fee when making a return.

We are unable to provide refunds for products purchased through one of our stockists, but we'll do our best to support you with a resolution.
